Exams & Grading:
- All exams will be administered online this quarter. Exams are open notes and you can use a scientific calculator. You may not use the following resources during exams: collaborating or getting help from anyone during your exam, using any online tools, websites, or search engines, using any calculators that can do calculus, using any materials other than your notes and your textbook. Please review UW's policy on Academic Misconduct.
- Table of Allowed Integral Formulas: During exams, you may use directly any of the integral formulas in the table below. Any other integrals must be computed from these, using the methods of the class.
- Calculator policy:A TI-30X IIS calculator is required in any of the Math 120/124/125/126 courses. Using an alternative model of a basic scientific non-graphing calculator is permitted during remote testing, as long as it only has similar functionality to a TI-30X IIS. Using any more advanced calculator, website, or app that can perform Calculus operations such as differentiation or integration during a quiz or exam is prohibited and counts as academic misconduct.
- Math 124/5/6 Median GRADE POLICY:Since Autumn 2012 the Department of Mathematics has adopted a grade policy for this course. The median course grades for each lecture section (or a single instructor's combined lecture sections) of Math 124/5/6 taught during the regular academic year will fall within the range of 2.9 +/- 0.2. This policy may not apply to the online sections of Math 124/5/6. This policy has been suspended during the current extraordinary circumstances quarters. Grading information will be provided by instructors.
